DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

i. Assist in compiling and compiling agricultural / economic agricultural research reports under the direction of the Senior Research Officer;
ii. Collect, record and analyze data for ongoing research work;
iii. Attend Regional meetings to revive research programs;
iv. Assist in conducting seminars and instructing farmers on how to use new technologies based on their economic situation and environment;
v. Provide research progress reports and research recommendations at regional conferences to streamline research programs;
vi. Carry out research activities under the direction and supervision of a Senior Research Officer;
vii. Write research recommendations under the guidance of a senior research officer;
viii. Writing reports on research projects for approval by the Senior Research Officer;
ix. Conducting inclusive agricultural and livestock farming experiments on farmers' farms in collaboration with Extension Officers and the farmers themselves; and
x. Perform any duties as directed by his or her supervisor

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Employed with a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or a similar qualification from a Government recognized University.
