The Tanzania Electrical, Mechanical and Electronics Services Agency (TEMESA) is a Government Agency established in 2005 to provide engineering services in Electrical, Mechanical and Electronics fields, Technical Advice and Consultancy Services, reliable and safe Ferry Operations and Equipment Hiring to support the economy of Tanzania.
TEMESA operate a fleet of 33 ferries and 7 boats in 22 crossings across the country which on average serves 26.8 million people, 1.7 million motor vehicles and 499 tons of cargo annually. We also manage a network of 30 workshops across the country through which we repair and maintain abouti 29,263 motor vehicles per annum.
The overall objective of the Agency is to provide efficient and effective electrical, mechanical and electronics’ sendees as well as reliable and safe ferry sendees to the general public. The Agency also aims to provide quality and reliable services related to the hiring of equipments to government institutions and the general public.
