ARTISAN II (WATER LABORATORY) - 2 POSTS
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. To perform routine laboratory tasks under the supervision of qualified laboratory Technicians;
ii. To assist Technicians in investigating physical and chemical properties of water ensuring conformance to specifications;
iii. To assist Technicians in writing reports on deviations from specifications and recommends corrective measures; and
iv. To perform all other duties that may be assigned by his/her supervisor.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Holders of National Form IV Certificate with Trade Test Grade II /level II in Water Analysis, NTA Level 5 Certificate in Laboratory Technology from the recognized Institutions. Must be Computer literate.
ARTISAN II (SEWER) – 2 POSTS
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. To remove sludge from the manholes in order to avoid frequent blockages;
ii. To undertake sewerage connections according to specifications;
iii. To clean water ponds;
iv. To assist customers in filling forms for survey and new connections;
v. To remove hard substances and other waste materials from the water ponds;
vi. To report any sewerage leakage or defects observed; and
vii. To perform any other duties as may be assigned by Supervisor
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Holders of National Form IV Certificate with Trade Test Grade II /level II in Plumbing and Pipe Fitting from the recognized Institutions. Computer literacy is an added advantage.
